Visa Condition 8501 for Subclass 600

Visa condition 8501 states:

“the holder must maintain adequate arrangements for health insurance while the holder is in Australia”.

What does this mean?

It means that while you are in Australia on this visa, you must have appropriate health cover.

The Department might ask you for evidence of health insurance before they grant you the visa.
